Produktivquartier KÖ9, Dresden
Kleiner Entwurf Städtebau, Wintersemester 19/20
The approx. 3-hectare design area in the west of Dresden on the Elbe was in the past the site of a windmill and various large factories. In the meantime, it has been put to interim commercial use.
In the future, the focus is to be on a heterogeneous mixture of working, learning and living together under the guiding principle of the co-productive city.
To this end, the design preserves and enhances the existing structures and adds new buildings. The result is an urban, lively city quarter with a central neighborhood square as well as private and semi-public courtyards.
